We are looking for a Traffic Manager to join our Infrastructure Roads team on our A428 project.

What you'll do:



Lead the development and delivery of the route-wide Traffic Management Plan, DLOA, and procurement process Coordinate traffic management across Utilities, Structures, and Highways teams, engaging with OD and local authorities Manage subcontractors, ensuring commercial health, accurate records, and compliance with contractual requirements Mentor and supervise TSCOs, driving team performance, development, and effective workload management Champion safety and compliance, overseeing TM schemes, risk assessments, and stakeholder forums to ensure safe delivery

What you'll bring to the role:



Proven highways experience working on a major Highways Scheme, with a relevant CSCS card Technical expertise - strong knowledge of traffic management solutions, construction requirements, and key standards (Chapter 8, TSRGD, Raising the Bar, NRSWA) Health & Safety leadership - formal training (SMSTS) and a track record of embedding safety and environmental best practice Commercial and contractual awareness - practical understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and supplier management Digital competence & communication skills - confident with MS Office, site digital tools, and able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
