We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Traffic Marshall to oversee and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians in designated areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen sense of responsibility to ensure safety and efficiency in traffic management. This role is essential for maintaining order on construction projects.
Responsibilities
Direct and control the movement of vehicles and pedestrians to ensure safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and team members to facilitate smooth traffic flow.
Monitor traffic patterns and adjust management strategies as necessary to prevent congestion.
Conduct regular inspections of the area to identify any maintenance needs or hazards that may affect safety.
Maintain a visible presence at all times to deter unsafe behaviour and provide assistance as required.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Traffic Marshalling roles within construction sites(minimum 3 years)
Strong maintenance skills to identify and report issues promptly.
A valid CPCS A73 Blue card.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and effectively.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in dynamic situations.
