We have an exciting role on offer within our Highways Infrastructure and Fleet as a Traffic Signals Engineer.
About Us
Middlesbrough Council are looking to recruit 2 experienced Traffic Signal Engineers to help install and maintain Traffic Signals equipment and other ITS related equipment throughout the Tees Valley area.
To be successful in this role you need to have electrical experience and also experience of working in a maintenance environment.
Knowledge of UTC/SCOOT, MOVA and ITS would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
You will have a responsibility for working as part of a team you will be involved in routine maintenance, installation of new junctions, pedestrian crossings, VMS and other ITS equipment. You will be expected to work as part of an "on-call" standby rota.
