We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. This role is to cover sick leave . As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service. You will be responsible for preparing coffee and tea drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards during food preparation.
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Demonstrate time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.
Experience
Previous experience in food preparation or as a Barista is advantageous but not essential; we welcome enthusiastic candidates willing to learn.
Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene practices.
A friendly disposition with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being able to assist customers effectively.
