Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including workstations and equipment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards during food preparation and serving. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to meet customer demands while maintaining quality service.

Skills

Previous barista experience is highly desirable, showcasing familiarity with coffee preparation techniques. Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure the highest quality of service. Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proficient in food preparation techniques relevant to cafe operations. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders accurately. Effective time management skills to thrive in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: 12.21-13.24 per hour
