Job Description
Marks Sattin are currently recruiting a Trainee Accountant on behalf of a family owned, Award Winning service provider based in Huddersfield - with links to Barnsley.
Due to company growth, our client are offering a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Trainee Accountant to join their well-established fast-paced business. You will report directly to the Finance Director and have full responsibility for the financial ledgers.
As a Trainee Accountant, your duties will include:
- Bank postings and reconciliations for multi currency
- Control Account reconciliations
- Fixed Asset register management
- Payment runs
- Reconciliation and analysis of both the Balance Sheet and selective Profit & Loss accounts
The successful candidate will:
- Be working your way towards an accounting qualification or have exemptions
- Have experience of using Sage 200 - desirable
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as standalone
Study support if required
Working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
