We are looking for a Trainee Chartered Accountant to join our small and vibrant team in Sutton. If you have; an eagerness to learn, a drive to deliver excellent client support and the resilience to undertake a prestigious 3 year tuition package towards an ACA qualification - our firm is for you.

No prior experience in accounting or other business-related studies is required, but qualifications in higher education are desired. We will help guide you through the steps to become a qualified Chartered Accountant!

Location:

41 Oldfields Road, Sutton, Surrey, SM1 2NB - Office based only

Hours:

40 hours a week, 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday (Non-Variable). Bank Holidays off.

Salary:

Starting at 25,440 per annum with opportunity to increase upon each successful pass of required examinations as part of chartered apprenticeship (750 per exam per annum). We also offer monthly Bonuses based on performance goals.

- Your day-to-day duties will be:

General bookkeeping, inputting expenses for clients on various softwares including: Quickbooks, Capium, Xero and Sage Preparing VAT Returns Preparing Year End Accounts Processing Annual Returns Processing CIS Reclaims Completing Payrolls for clients Completing Self Assessments Liaising with HMRC regarding client matters Advising and supporting clients with their financial decisions
The list above is not exhaustive, however every task you encounter will provide you with applicable skills and an insight into working as a fully-fledged Chartered Accountant.

Ability to use computers and Office packages well (Excel, Word etc) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, over the phone, in emails and in person Well organised and can confidently manage own tasks Work well in a team and independently College education (A-Levels) or above
