Trainee Accountant
Job Description
Phillips Chartered Accountants, based in Central Park, Telford, are looking for a university graduate who wishes to train to be a Chartered Accountant (through ICAEW) or a Chartered Certified Accountant (through ACCA) and develop a career in accountancy.
After a short probationary period, training towards the professional exams will be provided through Kaplan over a three year period and you will be given study support through an apprenticeship agreement so that 20% of your time will be dedicated to your studies, while being paid for this time as part of your salary.
Working with experienced colleagues you will carry out a variety of practical accountancy work in our office which includes preparation of accounts, bookkeeping using a variety of different accounts packages, preparation of VAT returns, preparation of business tax computations and preparation of self-assessment tax returns.
