Job Summary

We are seeking a Trainee Taper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality finishes. As a Taper, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting and ensuring that all taping work is executed to the highest standards. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning and sanding as necessary before taping. Apply tape accurately to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to ensure clean lines for painting. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed. Collaborate with painters to ensure seamless transitions between taped and painted areas. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Skills

Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with team members and clients. This is aphysicaly demanding job so person must be able to be able to worjk with machines for long times Experience in painting techniques is advantageous but not essential. Strong attention to detail and precision in executing taping tasks. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
