Trainee Ground Worker - Vegetation Management

Trainee Ground Worker

to join our experienced Vegetation Management team.

This is a

developmental role

with hands-on training provided, where you'll work alongside some of the best in the business. You'll gain valuable skills and industry-recognised experience in

railway vegetation management

, with the potential for career progression.

What You'll Be Doing:

Cutting back overgrown vegetation, including trees, shrubs, and grass from railway trackside areas Removing plants that obstruct signals, signage, or visibility for train drivers Safely felling trees and removing overhanging branches that pose risks to railway infrastructure Using chainsaws and other specialist tools under the supervision of trained professionals Supporting routine site maintenance and adhering to safety procedures at all times

Who We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone who is:

Keen to learn and develop new skills Flexible and willing to work outdoors in various conditions A team player with a strong work ethic Safety-conscious and reliable

Please note: A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
