Job Description

:

To assist in the preparation of architectural designs, documentation, and project management tasks under the guidance of

experienced team members. The Trainee Architectural Technician will contribute to various stages of architectural

projects while developing their technical skills within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

-

- Assist in preparing architectural drawings, models, and visualizations using CAD software

- Help produce technical documentation and specifications for projects, ensuring, they meet Scottish Building standards

regulations.

- Ensure compliance with building regulations and company standards.

- Support the project team in coordinating information between clients and contractors

- Maintain accurate records of project progress, issues, and changes.

- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project progress, reporting findings to project leaders.

- Assist in preparing site analysis and feasibility studies.

- Stay updated on architectural trends, materials, and technologies to enhance skills and project outcomes.

- Continuous learning of Scottish Building Standards regulations

Education

:

- Minimum HNC in Architectural Technology or a related field.

Experience

:

- Previous experience in an architectural environment is desirable but not essential; relevant coursework will be

considered.

Skills

:

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical work.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 18,000.00-24,000.00 per year
