Job Overview

We are seeking a Architectural Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in architectural design and technical detailing, with a proficiency in CAD software. This role involves collaborating closely with architectural technicians, clients and engineers to develop innovative designs and ensure the successful execution of projects from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed architectural drawings and specifications using CAD software, including AutoCAD. Create compliant plans and technical documentation for building projects. Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and regulatory standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, building regulations, planning legislations and technologies to enhance design quality.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) is essential. Ability to create detailed compliant plans and technical drawings. Experience with 3D modelling software such as Sketchup is desirable, but not necessary. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
