Trainee

Business Development Executive

to conduct business-to-business sales ahead of expansion. This is the perfect opportunity for a recent Business Graduate looking to embark on the next stage of their career with a leading Environmental organisation.

The ideal candidate must be a hard-working and dedicated individual looking to grow their career in an award-winning business.

Role Description

This role is a full-time, permanent position. Daily tasks include:

Actively generating new business leads across a number of sectors Door to door canvassing: promoting WRC as a dependable waste contractor Proactively establishing relationships with commercial customers in the retail, hospitality, and industrial industries Assisting with the internal and external marketing of WRC's service package Attending team meetings in line with the needs of the business to maximise returns Working with the Sales team to consistently drive the Sales strategy forward Attending regular Sales events in the search for business opportunities Be the primary interface between WRC Recycling and commercial customers Securing and arranging sale appointments Actively listen and provide customers with the best waste management solutions Reaching company and personal sales targets Gathering market information and opportunities Provide accurate calculations and quotes to customers Closing sales successfully

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

Ambitious with a willingness to succeed A tenacious and driven mindset is crucial History of achieving new business sales is beneficial Experience dealing with commercial clients is advantageous A strong commercial background and awareness The ability to build and maintain professional relationships Robust and resilient Outstanding customer service skills Strong communication skills - verbal and written Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Outlook)
