The Role:



Brit-Lube Manufacture Specialist Lubricants that are used in Factories, Production Facilities, Utility Companies, Warehousing, and many different Industrial Sectors.

As a Trainee Business Development Manager, you will work directly with customers and be responsible for managing your own diary. The role will be a split between, new business development, internal sales support, technical support, and managing and developing existing accounts.

You will be based at the Warrington Facility and will be responsible for Internal Sales along with Servicing and Developing Business in the North West of England.

The role will be a mix of Office based Internal Sales and Field Sales. You will have an exclusive territory - The North West of England. Candidates should ideally be based within easy access to the Warrington Factory.

Key Responsibilities:



Build and develop strong relationships with a wide variety of existing customers, ensuring awareness of the full range of products.

Promote the company's overall capability, ensuring upselling opportunities and sales volumes are maximised.

Developing new business by researching and analysing potential customers in both the food and beverage sector and the general industrial sector.

Expanding sales by initiating and building strong relationships with new customers, raising the company profile.

Providing regular and accurate forecasts of projected sales.

Build strong understanding of the company's full product range.

Interface with the commercial/admin team to support customer solutions.

Providing customer technical and product support.

Continually developing industry knowledge, regulations needed and technical know-how.

Be capable of using Customer Relationship Software, Create and manage quotations.

Preparation of monthly update reports for the Managing Director.

Candidate Profile.



The ability to work with and communicate at all levels with customers.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be expected to build solid business relationships, develop sales potential, and maximise sales.

Excellent client facing communication and presentation skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent planning, time management and organisation skills

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset.

Can demonstrate the drive and enthusiasm to close deals and meet sales targets.

Previous experience with Microsoft programmes such as outlook, Excel, Teams, and CRM.

Preferably have experience in using Customer Relations Software and have good Computer Literacy.

Open and honest attitude, paying attention to detail.

An inquiring mind that is willing to learn and develop with a self-starter mindset and a "can do" attitude.

Must be 25 or over due to our vehicle insurance conditions

Experience.



Commercially astute, with some experience in sales or customer service.

Able to demonstrate an analytical approach and strong communication ability.

Experience in Field Sales is desired but not essential.

A chemical industry or engineering background is desired but not essential.

The role will suit someone with ambition as there are opportunities to develop quickly within the company due to ongoing growth.
