About the Role
We're looking for an ambitious
Junior Business Development Manager
to join our client/partner as they continue to grow our national introducer network.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is hungry to learn, highly motivated, and ready to build a successful career in B2B field sales. This is a

self-generate opportunities
, get out in front of prospects, and develop new business through consistent outreach and relationship building.
You'll be supported with training, tools, and mentoring, but success in this role comes from energy, resilience, and a willingness to pick up the phone, network and get conversations started.
What You'll Be Doing
Proactively
self-generating new business opportunities
through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, networking, and face-to-face meetings.
Identifying and engaging mortgage brokers, estate agents, and other property professionals to introduce them to our services.
Booking and attending on-site meetings to pitch Altium Legal's panel and concierge offering.
Building early-stage relationships and developing them into long-term introducer partnerships.
Maintaining a
high level of daily sales activity
, with a strong focus on outbound prospecting.
Attending industry events, exhibitions, and networking evenings to raise brand awareness and generate leads.
Accurately recording activity and pipeline updates using CRM tools.
Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and a positive experience for new partners.
Attending monthly sales meetings in London and additional in-person training or development sessions when required.
What We're Looking For
Some experience in
sales, telesales, business development, or customer-facing roles
(B2B preferred, but not essential).
A genuine interest in
field sales and relationship-driven business development
.
Confidence with cold outreach and a positive attitude towards rejection and persistence.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with new contacts.
A self-starter mindset - you don't wait for leads, you go out and create them.
Good organisation and time management skills, comfortable working independently.
Willingness to travel regularly and attend networking events.
Experience using a CRM (e.g. HubSpot) is advantageous, but training will be provided.
