Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Trainee Business Development Manager to join our existing team to help save customers money. As an outbound team you will deal with warm leads to provide customers savings on their utility bills. We work with over 20 leading energy suppliers including the big 6 to provide the best prices to help customers save money on their bills.
This is a fantastic opportunity for confident, sales driven and money motivated individuals with the desire to succeed. Those looking to kick-start a career in sales and business development within the energy sector, will be provided full training and strong performers will have a clear path to promotion and high earnings. The role is open to school leavers or graduates.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively generate new leads via outbound calls.
Contact businesses using warm leads provided and providing cost effective solutions.
Asking questions and collecting information.
Working individually and as part of a proactive sales team.
Represent the company professionally over the phone.
Monitor industry trends and gather insights to tailor outreach strategies.
Meet individual and team KPIs, including outreach targets and conversion rates.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Required Skills & Attributes:
Previous experience in telesales, cold calling, or lead generation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confident phone manner and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Desire to learn and develop in a professional sales environment.
Basic understanding of B2B sales and lead generation processes.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Resilience, drive, and a competitive mindset.
A "closing mentality" and ability to handle objections.
