Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfil orders efficiently and accurately. Provide excellent customer service by answering queries regarding meat products and offering recommendations. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in food preparation and safety. Utilise specialised equipment, including bend saws and very sharp butcher's knives, to execute precise cuts and produce sausages.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role within the culinary or food production industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Proficient in various cutting techniques and equipment used in meat preparation. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure. A genuine passion for food and culinary arts is highly desirable. Proficient in the safe and effective use of band saws and sharp butcher's knives. Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with customers of all background, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
