Job Overview
We are seeking a trainee Carpenter to join our team, responsible for all jobs in our workshop ranging from constructing and machining timber to general workshop tasks. The ideal candidate will possess an enthusiasm to learn carpentry techniques and gain experience in the field. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
Measure, cut, and shape wood using hand tools and machinery. Fabricate custom pieces as needed for various projects. Carry out painting and staining tasks to finish surfaces as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
Qualifications
College level experience with Carpentry or an interest in the carpentry field. Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills). Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
