St Agnes Parish Council is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and conscientious individual to join our team as a Trainee Cemeteries & Allotments Assistant.
This is a developmental role designed to support your growth into a fully qualified Cemeteries & Allotments Officer over time.

Working under the guidance of trained Officers, you'll assist in administering the Council's cemeteries and allotment sites. This includes liaising with bereaved families, funeral directors, contractors, and allotment tenants, handling records and documentation, supporting inspections and maintenance work, and learning to apply relevant legislation and policies in your day-to-day duties.
You will receive full training and support, including access to professional development courses (e.g. ICCM, NALC), time for study, and practical on-the-job learning. As part of our commitment to growing our own talent, the Council hopes to support the successful applicant to remain in the role long-term and progress with us.
