What you'll do:

Make an impact from day one -- dive straight into real projects across R&D, Patent Box and Grant Funding, not just shadowing from the sidelines. Support success -- help clients meet compliance and reporting obligations while driving growth through R&D claims and financial solutions. Learn fast, grow faster -- with mentoring, hands-on experience, and structured training to sharpen your technical, commercial, and professional skills. Build expertise in UK corporation tax, with a focus on innovation reliefs like R&D tax credits and the Patent Box. Gain knowledge of ROI corporation tax and how it applies in practice. Build expertise in project accounting, management accounting, and forecasting to support effective decision-making. Work with businesses to match funding requirements, gaining insight various grant funds across multiple jurisdictions such as NI, UK, ROI and the EU. Develop a capability to produce professional business advisory documents and funding applications. Gain knowledge in corporation tax software and its interaction with R&D group relief and funding. Work directly with the senior leaders of the business to gain diverse experience. Study with support, with dedicated time to study and a team behind you as you work towards a professional accounting qualification.

Experience

A degree qualification, ideally in a numerate or technical subject or a discipline demonstrating analytical skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong numerical ability. Analytical skills and critical thinking. Proficient IT skills in MS Office and Excel. Confident in communication. Ability to meet deadlines. Ambition, drive, and entrepreneurial flair.
This role provides a comprehensive foundation for aspiring Chartered Accountants by offering hands-on experience across diverse accounting functions within a collaborative environment. Candidates should be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and committed to professional growth in the field of finance.
