We're currently looking for new trainee coach drivers to join us based at our garage in Newbridge.As a

you'll receive all the necessary training, which is fully funded by Lothian, letting you drive your career to the next level.

, this role provides an exciting opportunity to travel across the UK, undertaking touring programmes, private hires, and day tours. We strive to offer work that suits your preferences, ensuring a fulfilling and varied career as well as providing your work allocation in advance. As a member of our team, you will be a dedicated employee working

solely for Lothian Motorcoaches

, focusing exclusively on our coach hires with no requirement to drive elsewhere. You will benefit from modern facilities at our Newbridge depot, including a drive-through bus wash and all necessary cleaning materials provided.

Here's what you can expect as a trainee coach driver:

Paid training whilst you work towards gaining your PCV Bus licence (Cat D) - all costs covered by Lothian! Guaranteed weekly hours with a salary of 34,333, after training (hours are averaged at 45 hours per week over each reference period, with time paid back in lieu during quieter months). Sick Pay Scheme 28 days of paid annual leave, plus an additional day for each year of service, up to a maximum of 3 extra days. Pre-planned working patterns with advanced rota notice. An extra 25 per night for overnight tours in London. Enrolment into our company pension scheme. Free travel within Edinburgh and surrounding areas with our colleague travel scheme, valid across all associated group companies. A bespoke uniform is provided. Continual training and development, including annual CPC training and opportunities for career progression.

In return our trainee coach drivers' will need to:

Hold a full UK driving licence, which you've held for more than one year and no more than 6 penalty points. Be flexible to work a wide range of shift patterns including weekends and Bank Holidays.
