What you will be doing:



Perform production support duties that adhere to the production schedule, quality standards, and project specifications through, checks, tests and sampling procedures of standard parts, equipment, or materials. Review drawings and documentation to determine appropriate set up; check in-process or completed materials for compliance.

Key Responsibilities:



Learn the process of composite production to understand composite materials, manufacturing techniques, and safety protocols. Learn to operate various tools and equipment used in composite manufacturing, such as hand tools, autoclaves, ovens and moulds. Learn to understand and interpret engineering drawings to produce Composite products. Assist in the preparation of composite materials, including cutting, lay-up, and assembly according to established specifications. Work under supervision to inspect and ensure the quality of finished composite products, identifying and addressing any defects or discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, process parameters, and quality control measures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, to achieve production goals and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Fulfil any training programme deemed necessary to allow the efficient performance of duties and development of personal performance. Full compliance with all QA, E,H&S policies, procedures and processes. To ensure employees, visitors and contractors observe health and safety measures, including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health and safety, Quality and environmental policies and procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of both staff, visitors, and any external contractors. Other duties as directed.

What we are looking for:



Strong interest in composite materials and manufacturing processes. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Your working hours:

37 hours per week

Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm

Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm

Variations to these hours and overtime may be asked of you dependent on business needs.
