We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Trainee Contracts Coordinator
to join our Highway construction/Streetlighting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in contract administration within the construction industry. You will support the contracts team in managing project documentation, coordinating with site teams and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements. You will be enrolled in relevant courses to assist you in your development towards Contract Management . There will also be opportunities for development in other areas of our business to further develop your career in the Highway Electrical industry.
Duties
Coordinate the preparation, review, and execution of contracts in accordance with company policies.
Liaise with internal departments to gather necessary information for contract negotiations.
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and partners to achieve favourable outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of all contracts and ensure timely renewals or amendments as required.
Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless integration of contracts into supply chain operations.
Provide support in the development of contract management processes and systems improvements.
Support and work closely with the installation crews.
Skills and Attributes
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Basic understanding of construction processes or a keen interest in the industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with project management software is a plus.
