We are looking to enhance our team of CP Technicians by providing an entry-level training opportunity for the right candidate(s). We will provide all the on-the-job training that is required for this role.
The individual will be responsible for supporting CP Technicians in performing cathodic protection related field testing and data collection of systems on pipelines and other facilities field-wide related to corrosion control and pipeline/facility integrity.
The initial period will be a 6-month contract, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff for the right person.
Whilst the job has technical functions to it, training will be provided to the successful candidate. A key attribute to this role is self-motivation and committed to providing excellent service and support. It's a role that is mainly outdoors and requires an element of physical fitness. Travel (around the UK and Ireland) is a pre-requisite to this job.
Mon-Fri is generally working away, utilising accommodation around the UK and Ireland. The company will support with expenses such as hotels / meal allowances etc.

Physically fit and comfortable with heights to safely carry a ladder and climb a telephone pole
Good at Maths and English
Full driving licence (non-drivers will be considered)
Able to manage their time as well as their workload
Strong teamwork, and prioritisation skills.
Applicants should also have good interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships within the team and with customers from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
Strong written and oral communications skills
Proficient with computer skills (MS Office, operating systems, company software, and technical systems)
