Responsibilities
Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with practice policies and regulations.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimise clinic efficiency.
Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Support administrative tasks as required, utilising IT skills for record management and communication.
Qualifications
Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
