Job Description

We are looking for a Trainee Designer to join Deanestor, the market leader for undertaking specialist furniture subcontracts in the Healthcare, Student accommodation and Education sector.

Responsibilities:
Working under the supervision of the Head of Design and alongside a fully dedicated team within a busy Design Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of manufacturing drawings to assist our Projects and Production departments, along with providing assistance to our current Design team with the preparation of furniture layout drawings for ongoing projects and the designs for furniture within numerous different business sectors.
Skills & Competencies:
Ability to use own initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team. Good time management skills. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent attention to detail. Self-motivated to succeed in both individual and team tasks.
Knowledge & Abilities:
Some experience of Revit and/or AutoCAD essential. Experience of Sketchup and/or 3D modelling desirable. Some knowledge of furniture design desirable. Ability to prepare visualisations, dimensional drawings and installation drawings. Some level of design knowledge would be desirable, however full training will we provided

Pay: 22,000.00-28,000.00 per year
