Job Description

Pharmacy support staff do many different activities within their working day. Under the supervision of our pharmacy professionals, and working as part of the whole pharmacy team, these activities include

providing an excellent patient experience assisting with dispensing and supplying medicines providing information and advice to patients providing information and delivering pharmacy services to patients
You will be required to work towards an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services. There may be the opportunity to further develop your professional career in working towards achieving an NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services.

The successful candidates must possess an understanding of the need for confidentiality within the pharmacy environment, and be committed to a professional approach in developing their role and skills.

Applicants must possess the following qualifications - National 5 certificate in English, Maths and Science at a minimum of grade C, or equivalent.

Summary

As a Trainee Dispensing Assistant, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care in our community pharmacy. Your role will involve assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Your enthusiasm for learning and commitment to patient well-being will be essential in contributing to our mission of providing exceptional pharmaceutical services.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
