Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Trainee Document Controller to join our existing Pre Construction team.

Our fully integrated team provides mechanical, electrical & public health (MEP) services typically within a 50-mile radius of both our Cambridge & Colchester offices; we provide these services in all construction sectors. The Trainee Document Controller will support the Pre Construction team with document management duties including, tracking and recording documents through to formal release of information to our clients.

Full training will be provided.



Some of your duties will include but not be limited to -



Support the Estimating & Design Management teams with effective document management. Be responsible for saving and internal distribution of tender information. Track and distribute information from our supply chain. Track & record design documentation for internal and external release. Utilise Document Management platforms including Viewpoint For Projects. Record & distribute key information to our clients. Provide support to the Pre Construction teams with general administration duties.

To be considered for this exciting role you must have:



An enthusiastic approach to work and be willing to learn. The ability to thoroughly, accurately, and consistently complete tasks. Attention to detail is key. As a minimum, 5 GCSEs grade 4 and above including Maths and English. You should be IT proficient and be able to demonstrate experience of working with Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word. Experience in Building Services or Construction sector is not essential, however the role may suit a candidate with administration experience.

The role is based in our Cambridge office at Oakington, CB24 3DQ. Working hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 to 17:00.
