Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Domestic Appliance Service Engineer to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in appliance repair and maintenance within a field service environment. Responsibilities once trained

Diagnose faults and repair domestic appliances in customers homes Provide accurate & timely reports of work carried out Offer professional advice & recommendations to customers regarding use, care and maintenance of their appliances Maintain a clean & organised company van and van stock of spare parts Ensure all care is taken over customers property, and work in a clean & organised way Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

Qualifications

minimum age 25 and a driving license held for more than two years - due to vehicle insurance restrictions minimum 3 years experience in a related role, for example electrical/mechanical servicing Strong customer focused & communication skills and the ability to work independently and able to keep calm & focused under pressure Knowledge of electrical safety Ability to diagnose faults using meters and attention to detail Willingness to attend further training Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds etc.) are preferred, but not essential
