Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled domestic Appliance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients on-site. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Duties

Conduct on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of domes appliances including Washing machines, ovens tumble dryers and other white goods as per client specifications. Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and effectively to minimise downtime. Provide training and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and installations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all service activities. Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication.

Skills

Experience in repair and maintenance of domestic appliances. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting purposes. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to travel frequently for client visits and site assessments. Previous experience in a field service role is advantageous but not essential.
