Salary negotiable DOE plus overtime and on-call.

Metro Rod work with the likes of Equans, Amey, Aldi, Mitie, Greggs, McDonalds, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Major companies and leading high street names trust us to deal with all their regular drain maintenance and we'll bring the same high standards of service to tackle your drain blockage.


Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, is also Willow Pumps and Filta. Two expanding businesses that focus on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a complete one-stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.

What does it entail?

Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customers' drains Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards Carrying out surveys Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year. This would be one week in four- variable according to business needs

What experience do we look for?

Ideally, we are looking for someone with previous reactive drainage experience within a commercial and domestic setting however, we are open to the following:

Previous experience working on-site in a construction/ground working/civils environment Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude Want to be part of a growing and progressive business Be willing to work some unsociable hours Full clean UK driving licence
