NUSTEEL STRUCTURES LIMITED

are specialists in the design, fabrication and installation of footbridges, sign gantries and road bridges. Due to our continuing success, we are currently seeking applicants for the following permanent positions at our premises in Lympne, Hythe, Kent. Nusteel Structures is an Employee Owned Trust, meaning the business is owned by a board of trustees who operate on behalf of the employees. This allows the business to share profits with each member of staff and ensure the business is run for the long-term benefit of the employees.

TRAINEE DRAUGHTSPERSON / AUTOCAD TECHNICIAN:

An opportunity is available for someone straight out of education or someone with previous experience in a similar role or industry. In-house training will be available for the successful candidate, CAD experience would be useful but is not a requirement, training is available for all levels. As a Trainee Technician you will work within a team to produce fabrication drawings that skilled fabricators will use to make steel structures. As you progress, this role will include project management aspects, including interacting with clients and contract specific progress meetings. You will be mentored by senior team members and work directly under them until such time your work is up to sufficient standard to work on your own projects.

Required Qualifications for an Traineeship:

Maths & English GCSE Grade 4 (old C) or above. IT Skills (Word and Excel) CAD experience helpful, but all CAD training will be included as part of the training.

Required Skills for both positions:

Hardworking. A logical mindset and good attention to detail. Ability to work as a team but also individually. Ability to work to a deadline. Computer Skills.

Salary

Starting salary depending on experience
Holiday: 22 days rising to 26 days a year + Bank Holidays.
