Trainee Fabricator
Job Description
Gresson Ltd is an aluminium frame and glass structure manufacturer. Our website (www.gresson.co.uk) gives a fair reflection of projects that we have completed. You would be working as part of a small team producing and fitting made to measure work.
In the workshop, you would be required to interpret drawings, cut and prepare aluminium sections and fabricate frames. On site, initiative, a positive approach to problem solving and some general experience of building construction techniques would be of benefit but not essential.
The bespoke nature of our work can be rewarding. We don't operate a conveyor type system. The tasks are varied. We expect to give plenty of training as it is unlikely that there is a readymade candidate for what we need and would seek a person who is prepared to put the effort into learning new skills
