Job Description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic trainee to join our established engineering team. You are not expected to have any previous experience in the security industry; however, you will be expected to be a hardworking and positive individual who's looking to gain skills to progress themselves and take this opportunity of learning a new trade.

You will begin your journey with us being partnered up with senior engineers from within the team, learning industry skills and gaining experience from experts within the field. You will also receive classroom training including qualifications and in-house training on specialist areas.

Most work undertaken within the role will be based around Dorset and Hampshire.

Once qualified the role will involve:

Service, maintenance and installation of security systems including alarms, access control, CCTV Service, maintenance and installation of life safety systems such as fire alarms Providing good customer service Participating in the out of hours rota 40-hour working week plus overtime
Desirable qualities:

Possess a full UK driving license Be able to carry, lift and climb ladders with equipment Well-organised, presentable and confident Excellent communication skills and able to think on your feet Experience working with your hands either within a previous job, education or on personal projects, electrical work or IT would be beneficial
You must not have criminal record for this role.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
