Role Overview:
We are looking for a driven Trainee Foreman eager to contribute to our ambitious projects. As a key member of the Trimline team, you will be instrumental in ensuring that every marine interior meets our high standards of excellence. With projects spanning global shipyards, you'll be a part of our growing international success story.
What You'll Do:
Learn and Assist:
Participate in site surveys and grasp the intricacies of project management.
Collaborate and Support:
Work alongside Foreman/Senior Foreman to aid project deliveries, focusing on health, safety, and quality.
Support Excellence:
Assist in task allocation, ensuring the team is equipped for success.
Engage and Communicate:
Collaborate with Logistics and Procurement to prioritize needs and maintain Trimline's high standards.
Grow and Develop:
Embrace a culture of learning and growth with guidance from experienced team members.
Ensure Quality:
Support quality inspections to align with specifications.
Build Relationships:
Maintain open communication with stakeholders, ensuring their involvement and satisfaction.
Qualifications We Value:

Working Away Commitment:
The successful candidate must be willing to spend extended periods working away on refit sites globally, involving long hours and deployments ranging from 2 to 10 weeks at a time. Flexibility and adaptability are key to overcoming challenges in diverse environments.
Hours of Work:
Enjoy a unique work schedule that balances standard office hours of 8-hour days from Monday to Friday in our Whiteley office with immersive fieldwork on refit sites, which requires 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week.

Base Salary Range:
28,000 - 35,000 per year (depending on experience)
"Working Away Allowance"
for time spent globally on refit sites. Trainee foremen are expected to be on these sites for 3 to 5 months annually. For example, a trainee foreman at the beginning of the salary range with a base salary of 28,000 could see their total annual compensation increase significantly (to around 35k per year) if they work away for 3 months, and it would rise further with additional months spent on site.
