Trainee HGV Class 2 Driver

PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO NOT TAKE CANDIATES WHO HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED Theory/Hazzard Perception/CPC 2 training on this course.

All Applicants undergo a DVLA licence check. (We cannot accept the following offences or Licences that have been revoked onto this scheme TT99, DD, CD, DG)

A Manual Driving Licence is required for this role.

The Trainee Driver Academy (TDA) is a platform for prospective employees and any current Reynolds employees, who possess an excellent work history and work ethic, who would like to join the distribution team and start the journey to becoming a qualified LGV/HGV Driver.


Whilst training on the TDA scheme you will start driving a

3.5t vehicle

for up to 12 weeks, so that you gain experience of Route Knowledge, Product knowledge, Redema training and completing your Theory Cat C Training and Test with CPC mod 4 within this period.


Once qualified as a HGV Class 2 Driver you will initially be driving a

7.5 Tonne vehicle

so that you gain experience of driving a HGV vehicle

(basic salary will increase to 32,950).

When managers deem you competent there will be the opportunity to be re-assessed by one of our in house assessors in a

HGV Class 2

vehicle,

(basic salary will increase to 37,360.
