Role & Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
Understudy the duties of the HSEQ Superintendent in preparation for promotion to that position.
Carry out Projects as assigned by Senior Management.
Coordination of vetting activities and maintaining vetting records.
Perform shipboard audits to achieve and maintain accreditation in accordance with legislative requirements.
Assisting with accident and/or incident investigations and preparing associated report(s).
Provide limited cover for HSEQ Superintendents during periods when they are travelling on business or during holiday periods.
Assist in ensuring Company vessels are operated safely in compliance with local and international regulatory and statutory maritime frameworks such as but not limited to: ISM, ISPS, MLC, MARPOL, etc.
Responding to and closing out near miss reports as required.
Reviewing risk assessments and updating as required.
