What is the role?
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our Leicester studio in a Trainee Information Manager & BIM Coordinator role. This is a key opportunity to support the growth of our dynamic BIM team and develop your career in information management and digital coordination.
You will work closely with our Digital Director, Senior Information Manager and BIM Coordinator across multiple projects and sectors. You'll receive a structured training programme, with ongoing support, as you grow into the role.
What does the role entail?
Assisting in the development and implementation of BIM processes following ES EN ISO 19650.
Supporting project teams with BIM coordination.
Assisting in the coordination and management of federated BIM models, including clash detection, issue tracking, and structured collaboration using tools such as Navisworks and Solibri.
Ensuring compliance with BIM standards and protocols.
What Skills & Experience do I need to have?
Basic understanding of BIM standards (UK BIM Stage 2, ISO 19650).
Awareness of CDE platforms and file-based/cloud-based environments.
Familiarity with Revit and model review tools (e.g. Navisworks).
Understanding of COBie, model structures, and information exchange processes.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
What Skills & Knowledge are desirable?
Some experience with Solibri, Dynamo, or BIM360.
Awareness of Uniclass, IFC, and model setup workflows.
Knowledge of drawing production, data population, and COBie deliverables.
Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or similar.
Revit certification or experience with legacy CAD tools.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
