Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Installation Engineer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in engineering / construction and gain hands-on experience in a variety of technical fields. The Trainee Engineer will work under the guidance of experienced engineers, assisting in the installation of tanks, oil lines, pumps and other related ancillaries. Hourly pay to start will depend on previous experience.

Duties

To be part of the team and be involved with all elements of the supply and installation of tanks, pumps, lines, and other metering systems Relevant training will be given, both using in house trade training, and external courses off site as required. Monday to Friday and overtime is regular. A physical outdoor role in all seasons. Based at NN7 4ER, however usually a van based job.

Skills

Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and practices. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in engineering tasks. Ability to read schematics and project information accurately for effective system installation. Willingness and an interest in learning all aspects of the business. Willingness to learn, engage in construction work as part of our engineering projects and pride in your work. Professional approach as this role is customer facing, good communication is essential. Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
