We are seeking a young dynamic and results-driven Trainee Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and placing top talent across a variety of sectors mainly within the utilities, renewable energy and engineering sectors. You will be placed in a variety of teams throughout the business and take part in a range of internal and external recruitment training courses and mentorship. OCC are a long established IT and Renewable Energy recruitment consultancy working with leading clients throughout UK, Ireland and Europe. We provide bespoke consultancy and sourcing of candidates and maintain professionalism at every stage of our business.
Duties
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
Utilise various platforms including social media management tools and advertising platforms to promote job openings and engage potential candidates.
Conduct a thorough candidate assessments through initial conversations, reference checks and skills evaluations.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
Collaborate with hiring managers and candidates ensuring the initial contact to placement process is efficient and thorough.
Manage the CRM system to streamline the recruitment process.
Generate leads for new business opportunities within the recruitment sector.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Work closely with the team on all levels.
Commission will be paid on CV's sent to the client and placement of candidates alongside your basic salary.
Experience
Some experience in sales is desirable.
Have a tenacious and personable manner along with a confidence on the telephone.
A proactive approach and strong work ethic, to go above and beyond the call of duty.
Demonstrate thorough work processes and professionalism.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for success in this role.
To have excellent people skills and strives to provide an unrivalled candidate experience
Previous experience working within Microsoft package is essential.
Educated to at least A level a degree is desirable.
