We are a long-established family run business in Oxford, designing, supplying and installing luxury kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, interiors and also offering an in house building and renovation service.
Due to the continued growth of our business, we are looking for a trainee designer to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career in kitchen and bathroom design.
You will receive full training and ongoing support, working closely with experienced designers and the wider team. Over time, you will develop the skills to design, plan, and manage kitchen and bathroom projects from initial consultation through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Assist senior designers with kitchen and bathroom designs
Learn to use design software to produce layouts and visuals
Support customer consultations in the showroom and at home visits
Help prepare quotations, specifications, and presentations
Liaise with suppliers, installers, and colleagues
Maintain showroom displays and product knowledge
Provide excellent customer service at all stages of the design process
Assist with administrative tasks related to projects
Training & Development
Full training provided in kitchen and bathroom design
Ongoing mentoring from experienced designers
Opportunities to attend supplier training and product demonstrations
Clear progression path to a Junior Designer / Designer role
About You
A strong interest in interior design, kitchens, or bathrooms
Creative with an eye for detail
Friendly, approachable, and confident communicating with customers
Willing to learn and take on new challenges
Well organised and able to manage multiple tasks
Basic computer skills (design software experience is a bonus but not essential)
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
