Trainee Installation & Operations Controller

Location: Caledonian Road N7 (Office-based)
Hours: 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday)
Reports to: Operations Director

We're a small, specialist department managing installation projects across multiple client sites -- not warehouse or transport logistics. We're looking for an ambitious, proactive Trainee Installation & Operations Controller to help coordinate our installation teams, manage scheduling, and ensure all job paperwork is accurate and on time.

You'll start early, preparing daily schedules, updating plans, and reacting quickly to breakdowns or urgent job changes. You'll monitor progress throughout the day, check paperwork in and out, and make sure the right information flows between teams, clients, and accounts.

Has a strong memory and great attention to detail Enjoys planning, organising, and problem-solving Communicates clearly and professionally with different people Has some understanding of installation environments Wants to build a long-term career in operations and management
With training, you'll progress from Trainee to Installation & Operations Controller, and eventually into Operations Management, gaining responsibility for staff scheduling, subcontractor invoices, and overtime approvals.

You'll work closely with the Operations Director and be part of a supportive team that values communication, accuracy, and teamwork.
