We are seeking a motivated Trainee Manager to join our dynamic team within the Sporting Club industry. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills and gain comprehensive experience in restaurant operations, food preparation, and team management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for culinary arts, a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to learn and grow into a managerial role. Previous experience in Bar and hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided to support your professional development.
Responsibilities
Assist with daily club operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and high standards of customer satisfaction
Support and maintaining quality and safety standards
Supervise team members during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow
Manage customer interactions, including serving and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally
Personal licence for Alcohol and ensure compliance with hygiene standards at all times
Contribute to the organisation of all bowling activities and competitions including Bar and Catering management
Help oversee cleanliness and organisation of the work environment in line with health and safety policies
Participate in training programmes aimed at developing leadership skills and operational knowledge
Skills
Previous experience in hospitality environments such as restaurants, hotels, or bars is desirable
Strong understanding of all health and safety aspect of the club
Proven supervising or team management experience within a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate team members
Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Enthusiasm for learning new skills within the bowling and customer service sector and a commitment to professional growth
