Successful candidates would be entered into our training academy which takes you through the qualification to become a qualified mortgage and protection adviser. You'll gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of the advisory journey while working alongside senior leaders, advisers, and support teams. Our structured learning plan is designed to build your confidence, deepen your industry knowledge, and prepare you for client-facing success.

To begin, you'll rotate through key departments to strengthen your foundations:

Lead Booking Team

- Learn to identify quality leads and book client appointments effectively.

Case Management Team

- Help progress client applications, liaise with lenders and solicitors, and ensure smooth, timely outcomes.

CeMAP Training

- You'll be entered into a 12-week programme to complete relevant examinations and obtain the CeMAP qualification required to become a Mortgage and Protection Adviser. This is paid for by First Mortgage.

Key Responsibilities



You'll be involved in a wide variety of activities, including:

Handling inbound and outbound enquiries, assessing lead quality, and booking client consultations Managing mortgage renewal appointments for our existing client base Conducting initial client fact-finds and affordability assessments Overseeing the online lead booking system and reporting on performance metrics Enhancing lead conversion rates through proactive follow-up and optimisation Researching mortgage cases and proposing potential lender placements Collaborating with advisers to deliver outstanding client solutions Referring clients to partner services (home movers, estate agents, wills, wealth) Coordinating adviser schedules to meet appointment targets Providing a consistent five-star experience for both clients and colleagues 2 hours per week seminars linked with the CeMAP training with a minimum of 5 hours per week independent study You'll receive in-house sales training to enhance your techniques for discussing client mortgage and protection needs
