Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to thrive. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, fostering children's development, and ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development in line with educational standards. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback and support as necessary. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment that prioritises the needs of the children. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and any incidents that may occur. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.

Qualifications

A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is not essential. Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire both children and colleagues. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A genuine drive to provide high-quality childcare and support children's learning experiences. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education practices.
