About the Role:

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated

Trainee Nursery Practitioner

to join our early years team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in childcare and early education. You will work alongside qualified practitioners, gaining valuable hands-on experience while working towards a recognised childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education).

The role will start in September 2025 but we will offer some days work in the run in period over the summer if you're available and willing

Requirements:

A genuine passion for working with young children. Willingness to undertake training and study towards a recognised childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3) which we will help you achieve Basic understanding of child development and the importance of play-based learning.

Desirable:

Previous experience in a childcare or educational setting (paid or voluntary). GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Hours and Pay:

The role is to work about 30 hours a week Monday to Thursday 25 days Paid annual leave plus bank holidays (unpaid annual leave permitted) We will pay for all your training and qualification course
