An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the South West Lancashire Agency.
About the role:
This position is crucial to the continued profitable growth of the business and to develop long term relationships with new and existing customers. Core activities include:
Working closely with our Business Development Representative to successfully follow through on leads and opportunities, consistently progressing the new business pipeline.
Sell general insurance in line with sales targets, predominantly focussing on commercial and high net worth personal business.
Review and identify the insurance needs of prospects and advise on NFU Mutual insurance products, seeking opportunities to differentiate our offering to add value and win sustainable new business.
Introduce the full range of NFU Mutual products including Financial Services and Risk Management Services, along with our range of Motor and Personal General Insurance products.
Effectively hand over new clients to a customer-focussed team of Service, Claims, and Administration colleagues in the agency to nurture newly established relationships and provide ongoing customer support.
Conduct annual reviews with customers.
Work with agents and agency manager on sales and marketing strategies.
Complete all administration tasks in accordance with compliance requirements, including collection of insurance premiums within specified timeframes.
About you:
We are looking for someone who possesses and demonstrates the following skills and attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
An interest in meeting new people and relationship management skills.
A results-driven approach to work in order to meet targets and deliver results to tight deadlines.
The ability to analyse and interpret data.
Attention to detail and record keeping.
Excellent time management skills and self-motivation.
Minimum 5 GSCEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English (Language and Literature) at grade C or above.
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential, as business travel will form part of this role.
