Qualified or Trainee Dental Nurse Trainer - Part time

you must be a qualified dental nurse with GDC registration to apply for this position and be based close to Bolton - as it is office based in Bolton.

At Dentrain Professionals Ltd we are continuously seeking to develop our practice and provide the highest quality of training for our apprentices. We have recently adapted our delivery model gaining accreditation with the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses for the Level 3 dental Nurse apprenticeship. We are the first training provider in the UK to gain this accreditation.

As we continue to build as a training provider we are seeking a keen and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our team.

This new delivery model is an office-based role based in Bolton town Centre, delivering teaching and learning sessions and assessment methods online to apprentices whilst working closely with dental practices who support with development of practical skills.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the coaching and mentoring of apprentices studying the Level 3 Dental Nurse Extended Diploma.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years qualified' experience in the role of a dental nurse and be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).

They will be fully supported to work towards gaining teaching and assessing qualifications to include the Level 3 Award in Education and Training and the Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Workplace. Qualifications are paid for by the company.

The Trainer post will require you to plan and deliver teaching and learning that engages and challenges learners to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours in line with the apprenticeship standard and qualification. The theoretical knowledge will be delivered online via teams. Please do note, this is an office based role, however you may be required to visit local dental practices on occasions, therefore a full driving licence is required.

The successful candidate will require excellent communication, organisational, I.T and administrative skills, along with excellent time management skills.

The position is part time hours negotiable with hours between Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00.

Appointments are subject to the receipt of a satisfactory enhanced discloser from the discloser and barring service (DBS) and suitable references from your previous employer.

Job Type:

Part-Time maximum of 20 hours only - ideally 3 days

Salary: 27,040 per year (pro rata based on a 40 hour week) rising to 29,120 pro rata once qualified and experienced. Wage is dependent on experience for Qualified trainers
