About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Trainee Passive Fire Protection Operative. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in a specialist trade that plays a critical role in building safety and compliance.

As a trainee, you will receive full training in all aspects of passive fire protection, including firestopping, fire-resistant materials, and inspection/reporting processes. You will work alongside experienced operatives to learn industry standards, installation techniques, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the installation and maintenance of passive fire protection systems Learning and applying firestopping methods and materials (e.g., sealants, boards, wraps) Following guidance from senior operatives to ensure all works meet relevant regulations Maintaining accurate records and completing documentation as required Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times Working professionally on client sites

What We're Looking For

A strong willingness to learn and develop specialist skills Good practical/hand skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team Punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude Full UK driving licence or a means to transportation CSCS card (advantageous - training can be provided) GCSE Maths and English
