We are looking to recruit a Trainee Pharmacy Dispenser to join the team at Newport Pharmacy. This is a full-time role of 36 hours per week, worked across four weekdays (8:30am to 5:00pm) and Saturdays (9:00am to 1:00pm).
This position is well suited to someone at the start of their career who is keen to learn, develop professionally, and build a long-term future within our community pharmacy. No previous pharmacy experience is required. Full training will be provided from the outset, including structured on-the-job training and support with relevant courses.
The role is varied and will involve working both in the dispensary and at the pharmacy counter. You will support the pharmacist and wider team with dispensing processes, stock management, and the delivery of pharmacy services, while consistently providing a high standard of customer care to our patients.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and willing to learn. You must be comfortable using computer systems and able to pick up new IT processes following training. Professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to patient care are essential.
A valid UK driving licence is required unless you live in Newport, to ensure reliable travel to and from work.
